                                 Registration

Why do I have to pay a registration fee?
Registration fees cover all the behind the scenes aspects of running this amazing conference retreat. Things like our liability insurance per person, program materials, graphic design/web design, a camp nurse who will be with us the duration of the conference, and any cost associated with putting on a big fun conference.

Yeah, but do I get anything fun?
Of course. You will get a cool bag to carry your family's stuff with you at the conference. Inside will be a printed map and booklet detailing everything happening at the conference from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. You will get name badges for all of your family members to wear. All of the programs you wish to participate in are covered by your registration fee. Note: swimming and challenge course may require an addional fee to cover the requisite number of staff and lifeguards so that we are in compliance with camp standards.

Is contributing to the scholarship fund mandatory?
Yes. (No, not really.) But if you are willing to donate 20$ to help a family attend who might not otherwise be able to, we will enter your family in a drawing for four free t-shirts for your family. T-shirts would normally cost you around 15$ a piece, so you could be saving some decent money.  Not to mention that generosity is sorely lacking in this world sometimes and we like to imagine unschoolers as people with big hearts. Do what you can. If you can’t do it, that’s ok too.

Great Big Happy Life Conference Retreat Fees can be found on the RATES tab on the left.  Please read registration policies below!

Please note that every body who is planning to be at the conference counts as a person for registration purposes regardless of age. This is partly due to the cost of insuring every single person who will be with us.

Registration fees are NON REFUNDABLE and must be paid before May 1, 2010. Please visit the GBHL shop to pay.
